Crawl Space Encapsulation

How can I prevent mold regrowth in my crawl space?

Clean Crawls recommends a two-stage process for mold remediation in crawl spaces.  The first stage is an EPA approved biocide that will kill any active mold spores.  The second stage is an encapsulating layer that seals in the inactive mold spores and prevents them from becoming activated in regrowth in the future.  Our process is guaranteed for the life of the building, if and only if the conditions leading to mold growth are addressed and resolved.

Mold growth requires four critical factors: mold spores, moisture, food, and temperature.

  1. Mold Spores.
  2. Moisture.
  3. Food.
  4. Temperature.

If these ingredients are removed from the environment, crawl space encapsulation will be effective in preventing mold regrowth.
